Word to your mothers. Life has returned to some semblance of normalcy at work. I'm still buried a bit but there's light at the end of the tunnel. I've never been through a Home Depot promo before. There are time limits on getting 10% off so people get frantic as they get to the end of the promo. Madness and insanity. I'll always remember talking to someone on the phone, hanging it up and looking down to see 4 new voice mails while I was on the phone. It was like that for weeks.
It was awesome going down to Quesnel to do the home show. Mike's got a pretty good setup for hosting guests. Lots of space, good A/V gear and you're guaranteed eggs in the morning. I seriously hate eating eggs normally but Mike makes a mean cheese omelete. The home show was a lot of fun. I've got sales in my genes so it makes me happy to be talking with people.
We had a great post-show meeting up with Mike's milf. I think Mike gets a bonus modifier for being a big fish in a small bowl (Quesnel). Also she has CHR 20, like srsly. Our verdict: good job malby!
On the g/f note, I'm looking through the paper for places for Carol to rent. I feel like I'm 20 all over again. :p Some reasonable places to rent in PG, surprisingly. I thought the market would be tighter somehow with inflation or whatever but I guess prices must be down because of the economy, etc. Anyways, lots of excitement on that front.
Photo-wise, I have a bunch queued to doctor and shoot but one in particular because I like the colors. See how many building products you can recognize based on color!?
